Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Budolinks collects, why we use it, and the choices and rights available to people who use or visit Budolinks.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Budolinks may be used by creators and visitors in different countries. We aim to handle personal information responsibly and follow privacy rules that apply to our service and users.

1. Who we are

Budolinks (Philippines) operates Budolinks and decides how personal information is used for the service described in this policy. For privacy questions or data-rights requests, contact us at [email protected] or through the Help Center.

2. Information we collect

We collect information needed to create accounts, operate public creator pages, process reports, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve the product. This may include your name, username, email address, login details, profile content, product information, shop links, social links, page settings, plan or checkout information, support messages, and report submissions.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, approximate location derived from technical signals, log data, cookies or similar identifiers, page views, product views, outbound link clicks, and hashed request signals used for security and spam prevention.

3. Public creator pages

Budolinks is designed for public sharing. Profile names, bios, product pages, images, shop links, social links, badges, and other content you publish may be visible to anyone. Do not publish private information, confidential information, or personal data that you do not want visitors to see.

4. How we use information

  • To provide accounts, dashboards, public pages, product links, creator tools, and platform features.
  • To authenticate users, secure accounts, prevent spam, detect fraud, and protect the platform from abuse.
  • To process reports, review violations, enforce our rules, and respond to legal or safety requests.
  • To send account, security, product, billing, support, and service-related messages.
  • To understand performance, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and develop better features.
  • To comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, tax/accounting obligations, and dispute resolution needs.

5. Legal basis and consent

Depending on the situation, we process information because it is needed to provide the service, because you consented, because we have a legitimate business or security purpose, or because we must comply with legal obligations. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, but some features may stop working if the information is needed to operate your account or page.

6. Cookies and analytics

Budolinks may use cookies, local storage, analytics, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure page performance, understand product clicks, and protect against abuse. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. Reports and moderation

When you submit a report, we collect your name, email, the Budolinks page being reported, report type, optional details, and technical signals for spam protection. We use this information to review possible violations and contact you if follow-up is needed.

8. Mobile apps, Chrome extension, and sign-in providers

Budolinks offers optional native iOS and Android apps that load the same Budolinks service in a secure in-app browser (WebView). The apps may provide native features such as Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, photo upload permissions, a share extension (iOS), and in-app purchases for digital Pro features. When you use these apps, we may receive device and app information, authentication tokens, purchase receipts or transaction identifiers, and usage signals needed to operate the service.

Budolinks also offers an optional Budolinks Saveextension for desktop Chrome. You sign in on budolinks.com; we do not collect or store your Budolinks password inside the extension. After you connect your account, the extension stores an authentication token locally in Chrome so it can call Budolinks on your behalf. The extension accesses the active tab's URL, page title, and related product metadata only when you open the extension or use its save actions (such as the toolbar popup or right-click menu). That information is sent to Budolinks to create or update your product links. The token is removed when you disconnect, when you log out on budolinks.com, or when your password is reset. You can uninstall the extension at any time to clear its local storage.

If you choose Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, those providers authenticate you according to their own policies. We receive the profile information they share with us (such as name, email when provided, and a provider user identifier) to create or link your Budolinks account. Apple may offer a private relay email address; messages we send still go to that relay when you use it.

9. In-app purchases and subscription billing

Digital Pro features may be sold through in-app purchase on iOS (Apple App Store) and, when available, on Android (Google Play). Payment, tax collection, receipts, subscription renewal, cancellation, and refund requests for those purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their terms—not by Budolinks directly. We receive purchase status, product identifiers, transaction or subscription identifiers, and entitlement signals so we can unlock Pro features on your account.

We use RevenueCat to help validate store purchases, sync entitlements, and process subscription lifecycle events (such as renewals, cancellations, and refunds reported by the store). RevenueCat receives your Budolinks user identifier, store product identifiers, and purchase metadata needed for this purpose.

Web checkout on budolinks.com (card payments through Lemon Squeezy or approved manual bank transfer) is separate from in-app purchase. To avoid double billing, Budolinks may disable in-app purchase offers when your account already has active Pro access billed on the website, and may disable web checkout while a store purchase or pending web checkout applies.

In-app purchases are processed by the Apple ID or Google account signed into the App Store or Google Play on your device at the time of purchase. Pro access is granted to the Budolinks account you are logged into when the purchase completes or is restored. Your Budolinks email and your store account email may differ; keep track of both.

Restore purchases does not charge you again. It asks Apple or Google to re-link an existing store receipt on this device to your logged-in Budolinks account—for example after reinstalling the app, switching devices on the same store account, or when Pro shows in the store but not yet in Budolinks. Restore only works on the same store where you paid (App Store receipts on iOS, Google Play receipts on Android) with the same store account that owns the subscription. It does not apply to website card or bank-transfer billing.

Manage or cancel billing where you originally subscribed—not necessarily the app store shown on your current device. App Store subscriptions are managed in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Google Play subscriptions are managed in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Website plans billed through Lemon Squeezy or manual bank transfer are managed on budolinks.com (Billing & plan). Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.

After a valid purchase or restore, Pro features unlock on your Budolinks account once the store purchase is validated. This usually happens within seconds but can occasionally take longer if the store or our servers are slow—contact support if access has not appeared after a reasonable wait.

10. Third-party services and links

Budolinks uses service providers to operate the platform. Depending on how you use Budolinks, this may include hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery, payment and subscription partners (such as Lemon Squeezy, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat), analytics and marketing tools (when enabled), authentication providers, customer support tools, and security or spam-prevention services. The Chrome Web Store distributes the Budolinks Save extension; Google's terms and privacy policy apply to installation and updates through the store.

Budolinks pages may also link to third-party shops, affiliate networks, social platforms, and other websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those services, not Budolinks. We share information with our service providers only as needed to operate, secure, support, bill, or improve Budolinks.

11. International users and transfers

Because Budolinks may be available worldwide, information may be processed or stored in countries where our hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email, payment, or support providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information when it is transferred or processed outside your location.

12. Data retention and account deletion

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, security, fraud prevention, analytics, legal compliance, tax/accounting records, dispute resolution, and enforcement. We may retain limited records after account deletion where required by law or needed to protect the platform from abuse.

You may request account deletion from your dashboard profile settings (type your @username to confirm) or by emailing [email protected] from your registered Budolinks email with the subject Account deletion request. Include your username so we can verify ownership. If you have an active App Store or Google Play subscription for Budolinks Pro, cancel it in your device store settings—deleting your Budolinks account does not automatically cancel store billing. After we process a valid request, your public page is removed, login is disabled, and your username may become available again. Signing up again later creates a new account; Pro, Pioneer, and pass access from the deleted account does not transfer. We may keep certain billing, security, and abuse-prevention records in anonymized or minimized form where required.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, secure authentication practices, private storage for sensitive uploads where applicable, and abuse-prevention systems. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so users should use strong passwords and avoid publishing private information on public pages.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct inaccurate data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, request deletion or blocking, request portability, or file a complaint with a privacy authority. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected] from the email address tied to your Budolinks account when possible, or use the Help Center. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We aim to respond within a reasonable period required by applicable law.

You can update much of your profile information directly in the dashboard. For account deletion, use the request option in profile settings or email us using the process above.

15. Children and minors

Budolinks is not intended for children below the age required to consent to online services in their location. If you believe a minor has provided personal information without proper permission, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Budolinks grows, laws change, or features are added. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service or other appropriate channels.

17. Contact and reports

For privacy questions, support, or data requests, email [email protected] or visit the Help Center. To report abuse, privacy concerns, impersonation, copyright issues, or unsafe content, use the Report page.
